Review Of Pantech Reveal – Blue

thumbnail
Pantech Reveal has two keyboards, a normal numeric keypad below the screen and beneath the phone there is a slider QWERTY keyboard. Now, we don’t know why there are two keyboards. The numeric keyboard could have been sacrificed to give way for larger screen size. But a smaller screen means that if you want to read text on this gadget there will be lots of scrolling. The phone is 3.9 inch long, 2.36 inch wide and 0.59 inch thick, it weighs 4.66 ounces. The phone is curved on the ends, looks cute. The phone’s display is 2.2 inch which is really small. Smart phones are known to have 3 inch display screen size. The display is good and you can see it clearly even in sunlight, something that we don’t see much in mobile phone screen. The screen has a display resolution of 320X240 and has 262,000 colors. In the display you can adjust the brightness, the font style, the backlight timer, the menu type, the color theme and you can customize the home  [...]

Review Of Nokia N86 Cell Phone

thumbnail
Nokia says that the N86 camera is so good that you won’t need a separate digital camera for your photos and this one is as good as a digital cam. We tested the phone for the camera and we must say that we agree with Nokia. So let’s get down to business with the main selling point of the phone, the camera. We won’t say that N86 has the highest mega pixel camera in the market. Samsung Memoir has 8 mega pixel and Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905 has 8.1 mega pixel camera. But the results that this camera gave were quite impressive. The camera has lens cover over it which says “Carl Zeiss” and you have to slide it down to open the camera. The phone has 20x digital zoom and the video shooting can be done up to 30 frames per second. The phone has advanced editing options like N85 like eight shooting modes, sequence shots, ISO settings, and red-eye reduction, and includes some new tricks like panorama mode, variable aperture (F2.4, F3.2, F4.8), and a 28-millimeter wide-angle lens.  [...]

Nokia Mural 6750 Review

thumbnail
Nokia Mural 6750 is a clam shell model phone and it has a screen on the lid too. The screen on the lid will give you time, network service, signal strength, battery and numeric caller ID. We reviewed Sony Ericsson Equinox before this and in both the phones we would have liked a photo caller ID. There are also three music keys on the lid to use when the phone is closed. They give quick access to the music playback. Nokia first did the music access keys thing on Nokia N76 phones. The inside display of the phone is 2.25 inch, supports 16 million colors and has a 320X240 resolution. The display is bright and sharp just like other Nokia phones. The keyboard is quite different on this phone, it is the kind that you don’t see much. We reviewed the Sony Ericsson Equinox before this and the two keyboards look quite similar. Equinox had a little hard keys but this one is better. You will need a little time to get used to this keypad till then occasional mishits are common. But this keypad  [...]

Review Of HTC Imagio Cell Phone

thumbnail
The display of the phone is a huge 3.6 inch size and gives you amazing 480X800 pixel resolution. Watching videos on this screen is really good and they look quite crisp. We weren’t expecting such a big resolution even though the display is big. The space that you get on the screen to work is amazing. With a bigger resolution screen you won’t have to scroll much to read the documents. You get additional tabs for calendar and stock quotes plus the ability to add and remove tabs on the Home screen. The start menu is presented in a grid view where you can customize different applications and settings. There is built in accelerometer which switches the screen from portrait to landscape when you hold the screen sideways. The accelerometer takes a while to switch and it is available only for specific applications like Web browser, videos, e-mail and photos. HTC Imagio doesn’t have a capacitive touch screen but has a resistive one. With a capacitive touch screen you can use the screen  [...]
