National Geographic Motorola Razr V3 – Low international calling rates

thumbnail
National Geographic seems like a good theme for selling travel oriented phones. Cellular Abroad is its service partner, which is running on leased spaces from AT&T. The organization has selected the Motorola Razr V3 as the handset. As an alternate, you can purchase a National Geographic SIM card for $69 and use it in your own choice of GSM cell phone. We agree that Motorola Razr V3 continues to be a good seller even four and half years after original Razr model. The Razr V3 has VGA camera, few extra features and latest design. The other choice is Motorola C1389, which is a basic phone. National Geographic is appealing the budget-minded users who need an affordable and basic phone. On the bright side, Motorola Razr V3 is also being sold unlocked for $199 without any contract. National Geographic Motorola Razr V3 has small external display located on the lid. What to look for in cheap mobile phones?

thumbnail
Not everyone loves a high end smartphones, some are fine with just basic entry level handsets. And we don’t blame them either, just because we are tech-savy, we expect the world to follow us. Most of the people who buy high end handsets don’t even use all the features there. So why a Ferrari racing car if you are just going to use it on the streets? If you are buying a cheap mobile phone, there are a few things which need to be considered prior to the purchase. The display of the phone should be bright. The resolution is not that important, you won’t a killer resolution on a cheap mobile phone anyways. However, the display should be good and icons, pictures and text should be easily readable. If your cheap phone has a touch screen interface, make sure that it is responsive. Remember that a bigger resolution will give you more real estate on the screen to work on. A smaller resolution will make icons and text look very big. Keypads are always important, be it  [...]

You will get microSD expansion slot with Touch Diamond unlike other two models. HTC Touch Diamond has three versions – unlocked version, Verizon version and Sprint Model. HTC Touch Diamond costs $299.99 with two-year contract. This cost is very high considering that this version is being old and its life cycle will end with the release of HTC Touch Diamond2. thumbnail
Nokia’s flagship model-N97 Mini is armed with long list of features and a touch-screen. The Nokia smartphone sports nice specifications like a 3.2-inch touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 3G HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 5-mega pixel camera and support for microSDHC cards up to 16GB. But these features still don’t save the Nokia’s sinking ship. The N97 Mini has a poor performance and the user interface too is not that good. Nokia N97 Mini comes unlocked at $470. The performance has been improved as compared to its predecessors. Nokia is equipped with similar traditional features, its user interface is still frustrating and confusing. We cannot see the N97 to attracting users other than die hard Nokia/Symbian lovers. The devices of various companies like Android, Palm Pre and Apple iPhone has better features and performance than Nokia N97. Recently it also ventured in to the touch screen market with its 5800 Xpress Music phone. We got the Nokia 2320 in our test centers, which is a basic phone just for calling and sending text messages. The handset costs $29 without any contract obligations. The display of the phone measures 1.75 inches and has a resolution of 160x128 pixels.
