HTC Snap – Alltel – A Smartphone For Messaging

thumbnail
HTC is not known to making phones like this, we miss the old design of touch screen and a few buttons underneath them and we would like to request HTC to get that design back. The display of the HTC Snap is 2.4 inch big and has a resolution of about 320 x 240 pixels which are both much less compared to what we have known HTC for. But the screen is bright and text and photos are clear on this screen. The screen makes up for a very small space on the top of the phone and rest is all hogged by the QWERTY keyboard and the buttons above it. The keyboard has taken a lot of space on the HTC Snap and hence it is quite spacey. The keyboard is quite easy to type, the number buttons are highlighted in white color against the black keys. You can type and browse for a lot of time on this keyboard, it is not all cramped. Above the keyboard there are the call and call end keys, home button, back button and two soft buttons. There is a four way direction  [...]

Review Of T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Cell Phone

thumbnail
The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G is very pretty looking and the big screen really rocks! T-Mobile’s first Android phone was G1 and we now have the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G after about ten months of wait. The phone has been worked hard upon and it really shows on the features side. The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G is nothing like its predecessor, the G1 was like a square box and bit clunky, where as this phone is a bit more thin and you get color options of black white and merlot. We got the white version for test in our centers. The phone has a ‘chin’ in the bottom just like some Android phones have been known to have and this might give you an itch in the pocket. But it is sure to fit in the tightest of jeans. The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G is 4.65 inches tall, 0.65 inch deep, 2.19 inch wide and weighs 4.09 ounces. The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G has a big 3.2 inch touch screen and it is the best part of the phone. You seldom get to see this big screen in phones (except the iPhone which has a 3.5 inch screen)  [...]

HTC Pure Review -AT&T- Inexpensive And Great On Features

thumbnail
HTC pure is the first mobile phone to come in packaged with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 which promises a better OS with more on features and applications. The web browser of the phone is more powerful and better than earlier HTC phones but it still leaves a lot to be desired. Other useful services include Microsoft application store and a backup service called My Phone. If your phone gets lost or stolen you can remotely erase or wipe the data on the phone but it will remain safe on the company’s website thanks to the My Phone feature. Browsing has been improved on this phone and so is the multimedia but it is still not at par with what other players give in the market. But when it comes to intra competition we would say that this is the best HTC phone. The display of the HTC Pure is WVGA and it is 3.2 inch big which gives you a display of 400X800. The size and the resolution go well with the phone and give you lot of room for icons when  [...]

Review Of HTC Imagio Cell Phone

thumbnail
The display of the phone is a huge 3.6 inch size and gives you amazing 480X800 pixel resolution. Watching videos on this screen is really good and they look quite crisp. We weren’t expecting such a big resolution even though the display is big. The space that you get on the screen to work is amazing. With a bigger resolution screen you won’t have to scroll much to read the documents. You get additional tabs for calendar and stock quotes plus the ability to add and remove tabs on the Home screen. The start menu is presented in a grid view where you can customize different applications and settings. There is built in accelerometer which switches the screen from portrait to landscape when you hold the screen sideways. The accelerometer takes a while to switch and it is available only for specific applications like Web browser, videos, e-mail and photos. HTC Imagio doesn’t have a capacitive touch screen but has a resistive one. With a capacitive touch screen you can use the screen  [...]
