LG KB770 was released in 2008 and it has great looks. It has the typical LG style but certainly doesn’t look anything repetitive. It is slim and sleek with black color. It is a basic phone and still gives a good set of mid-range features. The features inside along with sleek design will certainly make it popular among the users. It might not have all the high end features that you’d seen in the more expensive cell phones these days but it is still a good handset according to me. T-Mobile G2X is a high end smartphone having excellent high quality specifications inside like Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor. The performance is excellent and the surface of the phone is dominated by a four inch IPS screen that shows stellar quality video. Below this screen, there are Android shortcut buttons for search, back, home, and menu. They are all touch sensitive buttons and on the phone’s top, there is a front facing camera. LG Renoir KC910 is a high end cell phone and the best part about it is the eight megapixel high end camera. It comes with a wealth of options and you can rely on this to replace an entry level point and shoot camera. Schneider-Kreuznach optics here have been improved since Viewty and I got to take some really good looking and exciting photos. Just like most of the mobile phones out there, this one works the best when you put it in optimal conditions – natural and bright sunlight. I did have some luck while talking pictures in dark rooms using Xenon flash but the subjects had to be really close for it. Testing macro feature on the LG Renoir KC910, I took pics which replicated a depth of field very well and this is difficult to achieve using fixed focus camera phone lens. Touchscreen technology has been a big hit in the market and everyone loves it. Phones having touch sensitive menus have grabbed the imagination of ever growing cell phone buying market even though touch screens aren’t really ideal for inputting text. Touch screen technology has arrived and it is here to stay. This is reiterated by phones like LG KF 600 which is a mid range handset having full touch screen. When I first saw this phone, I thought it was Euro-Asian Twin of the Venus. Both have same dimensions with same weight but the LG KF 600 is about 2mm slimmer. The screen is two inches big which is standard for this phone and you get 240x320 pixels resolution or 262k colors. The image quality is pretty good. There is something called Interact Pad located below the screen. It is one and half inches big and has a resolution of 240x276 pixels. It is a full color screen and is divided from the bigger one by one thin line. It replaces the traditional navigation button and also adds some flair while using different applications. LG KF 510 is a slider phone having tempered glass and it gives you a very solid feed in the hand. However, some might not like the glossy surface which catches a lot of fingerprints easily and makes the phone look ugly. I would recommend hygiene freaks to keep a cleaning cloth close if they are getting this phone. I struggled a bit to find the power button on this phone, it is a slider switch on the right and looks more like a music player. Below the slider, there is a discrete camera button which also acts like a wake up button when the screen goes idle. You also get a stealthy microSD card slot. Sliding open the LG KF 510 will reveal a face that is full of matte, large number buttons. The handset’s sliding mechanism is really sturdy and inspires style and confidence and doesn’t look as if the two parts have been glued together. The internal slider also gives a feeling of more stability. The three megapixel camera is located below the sliding mechanism.

LG KU80 looks a lot like LG Chocolate and I won’t be surprised if you mistake one phone for the other as the handsets look really similar. The elements of design and shape of slider and positioning of navigation buttons remind me of Chocolate. But there are some major differences on the inside, the LG KU380 is made for different kind of audience. In fact, it is a great 3G phone. This, along with A2DP Bluetooth, music player, and discrete video calling camera makes the LG KU380 excellent value for money.
