Before this, we had the LG VX8350 in our labs for review and we really liked the way the manufacturer managed to pack in lots of features and still kept the price low for it. The LG Incite CT810 is the first true smartphone for LG in the United States. Previously, the company has released the high-end phones like the LG Dare and the LG Voyager in United States as well as the LG KS20 smartphone in Europe only. The Incite CT810 is one of the shiniest handsets available in the market. It runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and features inbuilt Wi-Fi, HSDPA support, 3-megapixel camera, Microsoft Office Mobile, ActiveSync, and so forth. The Samsung Access and the LG Vu were the only two devices that support AT&T Mobile TV. The LG Vu features touch-screen and wide display, whereas the Samsung Access offers midrange feature set. Now, the LG Invision is available that also supports AT&T Mobile TV and offers 3G support, slim design and good call quality. It costs $79.99 with two-year AT&T contract after a mail-in-rebate. You may have notice the AT&T advertisements for the latest – LG Expo and heard about its projector accessory. Now, LG Expo is available for $199.99 with two-year AT&T contract after mail-in-rebate of $100. It features 1GHz Snapdragon processor for great performance. The Expo is one of the best Windows Mobile smartphones available in the market. Noteworthy that projector accessory has to be purchased additionally for $179. It has more features in sleeker body than that of HTC Tilt2. The smartphone does not have 3.5mm jack, but AT&T supplies adapter for the same. Everybody knows that most of the LG mobiles, especially messaging phones, come only in CDMA like LG enV2 for Verizon Wireless and LG Rumor2 for Sprint. For a change, the company’s new phone, LG Xenon, is also available for GSM carrier, AT&T. The Xenon has similar user interface and sliding QWERTY keyboard as LG Vu. On the contrary, Home Screen of LG Xenon can be customized with dedicated pages for applications and contacts, widgets and Annunciator – drop-down menu for shortcuts. The other features of LG Xenon are also similar to the Vu such as stereo Bluetooth, complete HTML browser, music player, 2-megapixel camera and more. Shine II is the third phone from LG in the Shine series. The first two were Shine KE970 and Shine CU720. The former was unlocked and came at a price of $575 which was a bit costly but apart from that, the phone was good on features. This phone will put you back by $119 with a 2 year contract and after a $50 mail in rebate. If you want it unlocked, you can get it for $269. The display of the screen is 2.2 inches big and gives a resolution of 320x240 pixels or 262,000 colors. Graphics and colors are sharp, photos are clear and the text too looks good. You can change the font size and color of the menu, dialing font size, backlight time and brightness. LG hasn’t improved the navigation controls in the Shine II. LG Crystal GD900 is a beautiful phone but once you get used to it and the novelty wears off, you will wish it had better performance. It will make heads turn when you flaunt it on your college or office campus but then on the inside you will realize that it is not as good. LG has taken pains for the phone to look good and haven’t cared much about the performance inside. We couldn’t get enough of the looks though; we were staring at it for long time when it landed in our test centers. The display of the LG Crystal GD900 is 3 inch, 800 x 480 pixels resolution and support for 16.2 million colors. The display is as big as iPhone and performs equally well. The text is clear, the photos and videos look lively on the phone. Beneath the LG Crystal GD900 is a keypad that we seldom see in a mobile phone.
