IPhone 4S Doubles Data Usage, Thanks to Siri

IPhone 4S users likely with the help of Siri, consume almost twice as much as data as compared to previous model, rising pressure on already strained networks. A voice assistant is reportedly responsible for the surge in data consumption by the users of this handset, as per study from Arieso, a network company. The iPhone 4S has downlink data volumes of any smartphone measured in the study of Arieso that covers over a million subscribers ranking little behind HTC Desire S, an Android power device. The survey also suggests in addition to Siri, higher image resolution and video sharing, superior mobile network infrastructure and more data demanding applications. Samsung Releases Their Windows 7 Omnia W Phone

Samsung has released their first low-priced Windows Phone 7.5 aka Mango running phone, the Samsung Omnia W. The all new Samsung Omnia W is one fine example of modern times’ low-price high-specification Smartphones, as the cell phone manufacturers urges to out-do Apple’s iPhone in any possible way. According to the market analysts, the manufacturers will have to price their handsets more aggressively, in order to give the Windows Platform a chance. Samsung Unveils Windows Phone 7 Handsets

Samsung Launches Smartphone Behemoth ‘Galaxy Note’

IFA at Berlin marked the debut of what could be seen as a bridge between smartphone and tablets. Samsung has unveiled their behemoth Samsung Note smartphone at the IFA 2011 event in Berlin, Germany. The Note has a colossal display screen measuring 5.3 inch (it’s the biggest offered till now by Samsung). The new Note runs on Android operating system. The Samsung Note has a 5.3 in HD super AMOLED multi-touch display screen that has a native resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating system. Samsung BADA 2.0 Announced

Samsung Electronics finally has launched their next genesis Bada Operating system the Bada 2.0. The newly launched Bada 2.0 will enter the market with Samsung’s Wave 3, which is said to enter the market on 1st of September, 2011. The Samsung Mobiles have also proclaimed SDK (software development kit) for Bada 2.0 Operating System, which will also help developers manufacture some fresh applications for the Operating System. The Samsung Bada 2.0 will introduce a lot of fresh potentialities, which we haven’t seen on any of the early versions. Some of the highlights for the Bada 2.0 include the likes of Wi-Fi Direct, which allows the Wi-Fi handsets to transfer content with no the wireless access points, voice recognition, NFC (Near Field Communication) and multi-tasking. Nokia Will Be Launching Symbian Belle Soon

Nokia’s all new Symbian OS Anna, failed in growing any sort of interest among the customers. Though, the tepid retort to the Operating System has not discouraged the Cellphone major from introducing the next variant of the Operating System. According to the latest reports, the Cellphone major is all set to introduce the next edition of their Symbian Operating System, and this new version has been codenamed Belle. The official Facebook fan page of Nokia is hosting a teaser drive that goes, "It’s about time to try something fresh” and at the bottom it adds "Something fresh on Symbian". The timer is indicating for the launch of the new version of the Operating System on 24th of August, initially there was a Flash animation running on the page, which initially was called “Belle teaser”, but it was later changed to “teaser”.
